It seems you're experiencing frequent WiFi issues with Assetto Corsa server loading, Ubisoft Connect problems, and general connectivity hiccups despite having a stable 500Mbps connection. The situation feels inconsistent and hard to pin down. I'm not sure if it's related to antivirus or firewall settings, but other downloads work fine. Turning them off hasn't helped either. If anyone else has faced similar problems, please share your experience.

I handle your Wi-Fi setup. Does it rely on a unique DNS configuration? Are there any proxies or firewalls restricting certain web addresses?

I’m using Sky WiFi and not very familiar with WiFi settings. It’s definitely my computer since I set up a VPN and all the issues have been resolved. Could you try something else? I’ve already switched the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 without success.

What kind of NAT configuration do you have? I encountered problems with a strict NAT setting, but after switching to an Open configuration, the connection issues in games disappeared.

You'd look for signs of damage or issues, verify functionality, and compare expected results with actual outcomes.

Typically, games such as COD and Forza display the NAT type on the lobby screen, but you need to consult your ISP's modem admin page or ask them directly for details. There’s no other method to verify this. Also, avoid changing router settings unless you understand what they do—once I did it, my internet went down completely and I had to pay the ISP to fix it.

I checked the router settings and didn’t see much. After resetting it, it’s functioning now, but I’m worried it might not last since this has happened before. If it happens again, I’ll reach out to Sky, my ISP, to avoid affecting the whole house. Thanks for your help!
