The method used for sharing files appears to be incorrect. I’d attempt to delete the share and start fresh.

I tried that and it doesn’t work—I don’t have a USB to RJ45 adapter. I also updated the NetBIOS name to match my Mac’s name, which fixed the connection. Now there are errors again; when I click the network icon it prompts for credentials, but entering them causes this new issue—0x80070079.
