Setting your main network to "Home Network" for file sharing means devices connected to the guest network can still view the shared files. The guest network should use WPA3 encryption and operate on 2.4 GHz frequency. You can manage the guest network settings, including access controls and configuration, through the router's interface. By default, guest networks are restricted from accessing certain administrative pages, but you can adjust these settings to allow specific access if needed.

These details vary based on your router's specifications. Without knowing the make and model it's hard to say. Guest mode on WiFi usually keeps clients separate from the local network, allowing them to connect only to the wider internet. You should be able to adjust antenna settings if your router supports it, just like we discussed earlier.

Set up a guest Wi-Fi using WPA3-2.4GHz. Ensure it isolates from your main network and grants access only to the file share. Block all guest devices from accessing router settings.
