Hello, I'm dealing with a problem of excessive pings while playing games on my laptop connected to Wi-Fi. The ping remains stable when no one uses the network, but it spikes significantly when others are online—like during YouTube streaming. In the game, the ping becomes too high and the experience becomes unplayable. I have two routers: the main one (Netgear JWNR2000v2) is wired via Ethernet, while the second (D-Link_DIR-600M) connects wirelessly with Wi-Fi repeater enabled. I also have Quality of Service (QoS) set on the main router, but I'm having trouble getting it to work properly. Can you help me resolve this? Thanks.

I would begin by examining the local channels and shifting to a less congested one.

@Skipple shared that he tried WinFi and found it very effective previously.

I switched to a channel with lower traffic, but it didn't help.
