You need to adjust your settings for smoother performance. Open the Start menu and select Control Panel. Navigate to Network and Internet, then Change Adapter Settings. Right-click your Wi-Fi connection and choose Properties. In Properties, click on Internet Protocol Version 4 or 6 depending on preference. Under DNS settings, enter the following addresses: For IPv4 use 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1; for IPv6 use 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001. Save changes and close the window. Restart your browser. Your device should now load faster and allow you to modify settings.

I've seen 1.1.1.1 mentioned often lately, especially with privacy-focused updates. Many services are promoting claims about not storing data and improved speed. It's worth considering whether these advantages are genuine or just capitalizing on growing concerns.

Yes, you can try adjusting settings through the Windows 10 interface by navigating to the Control Panel or using the Settings app, even if changing adapter options isn't directly available.

It seems you're not using an administrator account, which means you can't modify the settings unless someone else grants access.
