Yesterday I attempted to configure my old Windows PC using atlasOS as a Minecraft server. To make it work, I adjusted several settings and turned WakeOnLan on/off correctly—it functioned perfectly initially. After turning the PC off and disconnecting it, it worked fine in the room where it should remain. When I reconnected, WOL became active again. After some investigation, I found the Ethernet port was disabled along with the computer, likely due to the network card. I double-checked all connections, but no issues appeared until the power was removed. The only change I made was installing TeamViewer Host, which didn’t seem to help much. My ASRock B450M Steel Legend is still under my control, and its driver appears up-to-date (not the one listed on their site). I’m really frustrated here, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You activated it in the BIOS as well? WOL can sometimes cause issues, especially with certain cards. For my NAS, I used a RealTek chipset board initially—it functioned fine if you followed the right steps. Later, I switched to an Intel NIC that supported WOL and it worked perfectly every time without any problems.
I confirmed it in the BIOS, but after reconnecting power I had to restart it again. It seems unrelated to WOL issues—just notices the Ethernet cart shuts down when the PC connects, and there are no visible LEDs. Thanks for the response; it’s definitely a RealTek chipset.
It seems like your concern is valid. I attempted this multiple times with various boards, but it didn’t work. In both cases, simply adding an Intel NIC resolved the issue. This might not be the ideal solution you were expecting.
