I'm experiencing unusual white or lighter lines on certain blues and oranges. The problem appears only at 240Hz across all color modes, except sRGB where it resolves but distorts the monitor's colors. Does anyone else face this issue or know a solution?

Read through the lines frequently. This tends to occur on most recent Samsung screens running at 240Hz. There’s little you can do about it. Search online for “samsung scan lines issue 240 hz” and you’ll find plenty of information to review all night. I own both the Odyssey G9 and the older CRG9. The CRG9 doesn’t have this problem, but it also only supports 120Hz. My G9 is affected. The issue began with Samsung monitors when they reached 240Hz. I updated my G9 to the latest firmware, but it didn’t help.

Here are some great options for 4K 240Hz displays you might consider swapping in.

He probably doesn't have much to offer unless he dedicates time. He seems knowledgeable about monitors, though.

Great! I'm glad you're excited. There should definitely be a monitor available for your 4090 without scanlines.

Like @BetteBalterZen said it's a well known issue with Samsungs 240Hz monitors. If you set the monitor to a lower refresh rate it should be gone completely. Afaik there are no other 4K 240Hz options on the market right now. You can either get the Odyssey Neo G7, which only goes to 165Hz but is the same monitor other than that. (and doesn't have scan line issues) Or go with a 42" 4K 120Hz OLED like the LG C2. These have even better picture quality and offer a very immersive experience for less money than both the Neo G7 and Neo G8.

Alright, I'll check if the monitor you purchased can be swapped in with the G7 42", and let me know if it feels too big for your current system. Thanks for the details!

I received my Neo Odyssey G7 and noticed the same problem at 165Hz. It might be harder to spot now, but I’d likely miss it if I hadn’t been checking closely.
