I've been using various programs on my new laptop, but Task Manager shows the integrated 3050 isn't working. I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers and updated all software. Running Furmark didn't use it either. Anyone have suggestions for Windows 10 home? https://www.msi.com/Business-Productivit...ge-15-A11X

Yes, clicking right on the file opens a menu offering both integrated and dedicated graphics choices.

Have you looked in the bios to see if setting a default GPU is an option?

1. Follow these steps carefully.
2. Each program must be added separately, which can be time-consuming.

I attempt this and the GPU remains Iris Xe on both systems, even without a RTX 3050.

In the NVIDIA control panel it states Windows handles the selection, but I've switched it to 3050 anyway.

I discovered a fix, though not the optimal one—I swapped phys-x from CPU to 3050. In CAD it works reasonably well with the XE and 3050, but this will limit the CPU's performance.
