You're experiencing poor low-end performance despite a solid 8700k and 3080, possibly due to software or driver issues. The screenshot likely shows how the benchmark behaves under stress.
It might be just a minor issue from a faulty frame or a problematic section of the test. That CPU can manage Cyberpunk fairly well, especially since my child paid for a 9900K which isn't too different. I’d probably attribute it to a glitch and just play through it. Unless you experience significant stuttering while playing?
The processor is quite outdated. It’s clearly putting in a lot of effort. How about your RAM setup? Do you have a dual-channel configuration with the right slots enabled?
Understand the process... Use InSpectre to remove Spectre and Meltdown protections. Turn off the MultiPlane Overlay MPO. If this doesn’t work, it’s time to upgrade your platform. The 8700K should match a Ryzen 5 3600 or 5500. A budget option with 6 cores and 12 threads works well for lower-end cards like the 3080. Avoid going for a high-end card such as the 3080.
It appears to be a lightly modified 3080 with factory overclocking. It supports dual channel via slots 2 and 4, and you can upgrade the CPU further if needed. Storage options are available, and some users suggest a slight CPU overclock for better performance.
