The goal is to remove the game from the SSD right now, but I’m having trouble doing it. I only see the launcher or installer in the control panel—anyone here experienced this problem or found a way to uninstall the game? Thanks!

Check if it's a self-contained title not available on Steam, Origin, or Blizzard. Right-click the app and select "Open File Location" to explore potential uninstallers in the directory.

It's the Star Citizen game, and it doesn't require installing a separate app. You just launch the launcher, and the game starts automatically. I believe the necessary files are in File Explorer, but I couldn't locate an uninstaller and prefer not to remove them.

They didn’t set up a proper installation and removal system yet, so everything remains wherever you’ve placed it. Either remove the folder at C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games or C:\Users[your username]\Cloud Imperium Games completely, along with any shortcuts on your desktop and start menu, to fully eliminate it.

Used to be, when you needed to remove a game, you simply wiped out the files. No need to search online for steps.

Locate the installation directory and remove it. Search the system for associated files and delete them. This game is Star Citizen, an independent MMO currently in beta with no connections to Steam, Blizzard, or Origin.
