I own this specific motherboard. To refresh BIOS, download the latest version from the link provided and insert it onto a USB drive: https://www.msi.com//Motherboard/support/Z390-A-PRO. When starting the computer, press F11 during boot, then use the down arrow on your keyboard until you reach the setup menu, and press Enter. You’ll see an M flash button at the bottom left; open it and transfer files from the USB to update BIOS. To turn on XMP, repeat the same steps—press F11 and enter setup. At the top of the screen, locate a prominent XMP option and click it to activate. Use F10 to save changes and exit to Windows.
