Needs assistance with overheating CPU on CyberPower PC build.
I purchased my latest cooler today, opting for a different model—specifically the ASUS ROG RYUO III. After testing Cinebench, it reached a peak of 93°C and maintained an average of around 80-85°C. During idle mode, the system reports around 55-60°C, which seems elevated, but performance improves significantly under load.
Adjust Windows settings to enable CPU idle mode at 0%. Use the Intel utility to check clock speed. The Task Manager isn't displaying accurate readings—this isn't an issue with my Ryzen setup. Consider avoiding ready-made options in the future.
When the cooler has hoses attached, consider sending it to MicroCenter for proper handling. For tower models with fins and a fan, an AIO might be a better fit. If you're unsure about opening your PC, visit the knowledge bar at MicroCenter for professional installation. Sometimes insufficient thermal paste can cause the system to throttle.
I understand. My PC is a custom build, though it was assembled at Microcenter.
