Hello. I recently constructed my first computer after a long gap and have explored overclocking techniques. I’m following Linus’s instructions for boosting my AMD Phenom II X6 1090T’s performance, but I’m facing challenges. Specifically, I’m unable to raise the CPU offset voltage. I’ve attached photos of my BIOS and a link to Linus’ overclocking guide.

Your problem is clear. The device only accepts adjustments up to 0.7 volts.

you'd prefer a higher offset because it keeps the output stable and prevents unexpected behavior. At 0.7V offset, the voltage would rise to around 1.9V instead of the default 1.2V, ensuring proper operation.

That's correct, adjusting the offset to 0.25 should achieve the desired 1.45 V output.

The question is unclear. Could you provide more details or clarify what you're asking about the offset value?

Once you determined the standard voltage, the offset value was added to it. Understanding the initial voltage was essential before applying the adjustment.

I'll determine my standard voltage. For simplicity, assume it's 1.2. That means the offset is 0.25.
