It's quite challenging, I only realized the issue when I observed the pattern myself. The machine I was using stayed on 24/7 and didn't crash when I ran Folding@Home, but it would fail randomly if left completely idle with applications running but not using them, allowing CPU cores to sleep. It might have happened during a forum post, though I don't use that machine for that purpose—it's hard to confirm. The problem seemed linked to instability on certain voltage curve sections. Raising the voltage offset could help, but I wouldn't suggest it since admitting this to AMD could backfire and they might claim the damage was caused by me.
