I have Team Elite TForce Delta TUF 16GB 2x8 3200mhz with 16GB RAM and intend to expand or upgrade my memory. The current slots are labeled [ ]-[8]-[ ]-[8]. Upgrading would change the slot configuration to one of three possible setups. Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages. Please let me know if you'd like a detailed comparison for each choice.
Cheapest choice offers the best value but may face compatibility risks. Reliable performance is assured, though slightly pricier and with marginally lower efficiency. Maximum storage available comes at the cost of higher likelihood of problems and higher price. I’d pick option 3 since you can replace the two 8GB DIMMs if needed—either sell them or use another system—and it effectively mimics option 2. You also have flexibility to skip TForce Delta TUF RAM, as a more affordable setup still works well and saves some money.
