You've got a new PC up and running, but there are some issues with Edge and the GPU. Let's troubleshoot together. Check if the GPU fans are spinning when Windows boots—sometimes they stop due to overheating or driver conflicts. Also, ensure your drivers are up to date for both the GPU and Edge. If the problem persists, try restarting your PC or updating BIOS.

I'm looking for the device's specifications. When you refer to a crash, do you mean it freezes, shows error messages, or shuts down?

No, I didn't open it. I need full information about the parts, clocks, OCs, power limits, and more. Anything you want to share.

The system features a Ryzen 9 5900X processor, 3060 graphics card, 32GB of RAM, a 650W power supply, an EKW 360mm air cooler, and a B550 motherboard. The GPU is installed vertically with a riser cable.

Regarding the crashing issue, clarify what you mean by 'crash'—lockup, blue screens, power loss, etc. Without more details, review the event log and filter for warnings, critical errors, and errors. Check the crash time for any codes or system messages. Verify all components are properly installed, including heat sinks, to prevent overheating. Try removing a RAM stick and booting with one, observing if the problem persists. If it does, swap the RAM and test again.

Modern GPUs include an idle setting that keeps fans off when not needed. They only activate fans when they need cooling during heavy use. These fans have a limited lifespan, and keeping them off by letting heat dissipate can significantly prolong their life. If your GPU is overheating in games because the fans don’t spin under load, you may have another problem to address.

I haven't managed to set it up yet, because opening Edge or attempting an installation causes the display to vanish immediately and it restarts until it loads again.
