In your adapter settings, enabling "Obtain DNS server address automatically" often triggers this error. Uninstalling Vmware seems to fix it, but you encounter an "Invalid drive G:" message during installation. The issue is linked to your Samsung SSD getting RMAed while Vmware was installed there. To proceed with uninstalling Vmware, you may need to unmap the G: drive first.

Create a backup first, just in case. From an admin prompt (right-click Start, Command Prompt (Admin)), run: netcfg –d That will remove all network connections, then restart to check if the issue resolves.

It seems the G: drive isn't recognized anymore. You can remove it from your system settings, which will also allow you to uninstall Vmware.
