A year ago, my PC would enter deep sleep mode, with no fan noise, no LED on the power button, and no sound at all—even the fans' hum. That feature helped save a lot of energy. Now it’s missing entirely, and my system doesn’t go into full sleep anymore. What might be causing this change?

Shut it down completely. Are you sure all parts must be active again?

You likely can locate a third-party solution, as Microsoft won't release an OS-wide update just because someone requested it.

Is this the identical computer? There haven’t been any BIOS updates recently. Hibernation might be a viable alternative.

I swapped out my motherboard, but it's still the same model and revision—just a different manufacturer. The BIOS remains unchanged.

powercfg /energy /output c:/report.html This will assist in diagnosing the sleep issue. No errors expected. Common steps to try: Check if any UEFI settings keep the RGB active during sleep; ensure they're off. Verify chipset drivers are installed. If using AMD, confirm successful installation and review the report link to validate. Make sure you have the most recent UEFI/BIOS. If updated, consider reverting to an older version. Disable any overclocking profiles (XMP/EXPO/DOCP) for troubleshooting.

I don't have RGB settings. My CPU is already overclocked, not adjusted by me, and I'm using DDR3. No XMP support available. My BIOS is configured as UEFI and legacy.

It's unclear how adjustments will influence your gaming experience.
