Need to find a reliable phone number service?
Need to find a reliable phone number service?
Hey everyone, I'm really not sure about this myself either. I have a client who serves ten different areas in the United States. He has one website for each area with 10 pages on it, but he needs 10 phone numbers that are local to those regions. Is there a service out there where I can buy 10 cheap phone numbers? Each number would be from a different region, like San Bernardino and Riverside. The goal is to have my main number redirect all of these ten numbers so the client sees just one main line. Even though Skype can do that, it's too expensive for what he wants. I need something more affordable where I can get 10 local numbers from different spots in the country, then make them all point back to a single main number. Can this be done? If yes, what kind of service should I use?
Why you keep asking for separate per-region numbers instead of one number? For callers, it won't matter much at all. The days when "long distance" calls got different prices than local ones are over, and most cell phone plans don't care about long distance charges on the other hand - this is exactly what (800) and similar services do for people.
Ooma is actually really good at making things that aren't cheap. They have a service called Enterprise VoIP Service Solutions Platform - Business VoIP for Ooma Custom-built enterprise solutions. These are built just for your business and can grow with it as you get bigger. You can find more details at www.ooma.com Because this is such a special kind of thing, they will need to talk to you one-on-one so we know what you need exactly.
I got this from him - https://www.officetree.com/phone. I'm going to check out Ooma. When I told them it's not cheap, I just meant not $40 per number but since I don't know the details, I'll show the price to the client. Anything goes here.
Hi there, Gordon from Ooma here. Our office starts at $19.95 every month, plus taxes and a separate $9.99 per number. Please reach out to us for more info by contacting [email protected] We look forward to hearing from you!
You keep asking for separate phone numbers for each area instead of just one number? For people using it, it won't matter much anymore. Those old rules about charging different rates for long-distance calls have all disappeared, and most cell plans don't even care if you call from far away. But that's exactly why those 800 number services work like that.
I'm not demanding anything. The client was very clear. If someone from Riverside goes on their website, they'll see a phone number there. That seems to be all the reason needed. I will try to change his mind anyway. One number just like you said is enough.
