Ensure the monitors power cable is completely seated on both the outlet and the monitor side. Verify the display cable is fully engaged on the monitor and graphics card side. If problems persist, consider switching to a different port on the monitor, graphics card, or both. Should the issue continue, open the monitor and check the power plug port and PCB for any damage or loose screws. Always disconnect power and the display cable before handling. If screws are present, tighten them gently. If none of these steps resolve the problem, it may indicate an issue with the monitor's PCB.
Check the monitor, perhaps the DP cable has changed position because my daughter moved it (I don't know why, and why does she do that). I might have moved it when setting up the tower.
