I'm looking at a 7800X3d and considering upgrading from mini ITX to Micro ATX. The transition from nr200 to Okinos Aqua 5 prompted this question. Would the GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX be a suitable option? You can check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BH6X...PDKIKX0DER

The GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX is an excellent board, and I've used several of them successfully. There have been no issues, and it performed very well. While you might find cheaper MATX options, this model remains a strong recommendation.

Are you sure you need a replacement board? Your existing one should function adequately in the updated case.

I understand that concern, but this time I’m focusing on both appearance and performance. The wiring behind the motherboard isn’t looking great, so I’ll go with the Okinos Aqua 5 for a better look.

Thank you, I have some doubts about using gigabyte boards. Updating the BIOS on my last gigabyte board caused it to be bricked.

I'm not concerned at all. I've worked with more than 50 Gigabyte AM5 boards and updated their BIOS without any problems. The GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX supports Q-Flash, which makes the BIOS update fast and secure. Just connect your CPU and motherboard power from your PSU, insert the USB stick into the back USB port with a BIOS label above it, and press the Q-Flash button near the ports. It will begin updating automatically, usually taking about 2-3 minutes. No need for CPU, RAM, or GPU to be installed for this process.
