Hey everyone, I'm using a Windows 10 gaming setup with:
an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @ 3.4Ghz
a B450 Pro Gaming Mobo by ASUS
32 GB of DDR4-2132 RAM (Dual-Channel, 1600 MHz)
an Nvidia GeForce 3090 RTX
Generally, I maintain stable 100+ FPS across most titles, but higher-end games tend to lag on High/Ultra/Epic levels (current resolution is 3440 x 1440). I’m aiming to sustain Ultra/Epic performance and at least 144 FPS, possibly lowering the resolution if needed. I suspect the bottleneck lies in the motherboard/RAM setup, unless the CPU itself is limiting things. If my motherboard or RAM is the issue, I’d prefer keeping the same socket on the CPU. Please share any advice or alternatives you have in mind.
Every advice of the spear tip works. Your setup (in my opinion) is capable enough to test with the 5xxx flagship version when it comes out, to check what enhancements it offers for the targeted results. 4K demands a significant strain on the graphics card, making it a sensible starting point.
