Yes, it's technically correct, though combining RAM isn't advised. Your system will operate at the pace of the least powerful component.

I intend to purchase the identical model, Gskill Ripjaws 3200, but instead of 8GBx2 storage I’m opting for 16GBx2 plus 8GB. Will this still cause a problem?
