Do I have any place where I could improve those specific parts? I'm trying to upgrade my PC right now. I already own the case, power supply, graphics card, and storage drive. I'd just be taking a step up from an Intel Core i9 10900K processor, which means upgrading my motherboard, RAM, and water-cooling system. Any advice would be great! Here are links to all the upgrades I've considered: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6YqZv4 And here are my old parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZdpJZc Thanks so much!

I'd just be swapping out an old Intel 9th Gen i9-10900K, which includes getting a new motherboard, more RAM, and an AIO cooler. I wouldn't spend the big money on 13th or 14th gen Intel chips because people said those processors get worse over time. If you want to buy right now, go for an AMD AM5 platform instead. Sure, if you're brave enough to try it, the only thing I'd change in that build is swapping out the frame and going with a FRAME 4000D. Please follow these steps when asking about your new computer or upgrades: *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* First off, treat people right - this version came from an old Animal's guide on how to ask for advice. I made it here because there are tons of posts lately asking for help with both buying and upgrading stuff online, so I feel like the forums could use more context and community suggestions. I moved the thread from the Components section to Systems section.

What is the main job for your computer and how many small hard drives do you have on it right now?

Games take up a lot of storage space, and right now I just have one hard drive for my games.

Here are the parts I picked for my build. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D that runs at 4.2 GHz and has 8 cores. It costs around $385 on Amazon. My motherboard is a MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX, which uses the AM5 socket and comes with Wi-Fi. That one costs $219. I also bought 32 GB of Patriot Viper Venom RGB memory in two 16 GB sticks that run at DDR5-6000 speed. It took me about a minute to set up the RAM, so it was fast and had a good color scheme. The case is an Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB, which fits inside my tower box and has RGB lights on. Everything costs around $800 total when you add shipping, taxes, and discounts from Amazon and Newegg. These prices are the best ones found by the computer parts search tool. I picked these items using a special math-based rule. This whole list was made by PCPartPicker back on May 20th at 5:24 PM EDT.

Here is the breakdown of the PC parts I picked for you today. The CPU was a good AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D that runs at 4.2 GHz with 8 cores ($385.36 from Amazon). For the motherboard, I chose an MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM5 board ($218.81 from Amazon) to help with speed and features. I added some Patriot Venom RGB memory which is a solid 64 GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM for $189.99 at Newegg. To keep things cool, the case is an Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB ATX Mid Tower ($102.97 from Newegg).

Adding everything up, your PC comes to a total of $897.13. The prices I picked are the lowest ones found by a computer search tool. These numbers include shipping and taxes if you buy them on time. This list was made for you today using 2025-05-20 at 17:25 EDT-0400

Here is my idea for it: I picked this CPU from the store. It's an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a speed of 4.2 GHz and has 8 cores. You can get it on Amazon for $299. The motherboard came in as an Asus TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI ATX model, which fits my needs for an AM5 board, also found on Amazon at $230. I added some RAM from Newegg called the Patriot Viper Venom with 64 GB of DDR5 memory at a price of $154.99. For storage and protection, I used a Lian Li LANCOOL 217 case that is an ATX Mid Tower model for $119.99. If you add all these up, the total comes to $803.98. These prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when they are available. The parts were picked from a special computer part search tool I made myself, and this page was created by PCPartPicker on May 21st, 2025 at 14:26 EDT-0400.
