I performed memtest and although no errors appeared, the system became unresponsive and froze after about an hour and a minute with 71% retention. This issue recurs during startup or usage. I plan to retest it.

Remove one memory module at a time and test. Check each one individually.

I just ran it once more; completed 4 passes in 2.5 hours with no issues. Tonight’s task will be removing the GPU, cleaning it, and reinstalling it.

Did you encounter a problematic module, and if so, which one?

I wasn't sure about the details. Before removing it, I tried using all four sticks again, but this time I unplugged any extra USB devices except the mouse and keyboard. The issue still occurred even without any USB devices connected, and it passed the four-test error-free run.

I turned off the hub earlier than before the second memtest.

Interesting, yes modern devices often provide sufficient USB connections so a hub isn't always necessary.

Good question. You have a central hub with a KVM switcher. It lets you use your audio interface, Elgato stream deck, and mouse across multiple devices. Your Mac is for teaching online classes, while your PC handles gaming, streaming, and video editing. With just a button press, you can switch between them instead of constantly unplugging and plugging in USB cables. This setup is really convenient.

ntoskerner is primarily RAM but can also function as drivers. Given the DirectX error relates to the GPU and nvlddmkm is a specific Nvidia driver, it’s best to reinstall the current driver or try an older version. Another approach is to run it with an iGPU only. Since you experience this on your desktop too, logic suggests if no GPU is present even without drivers, it’s likely hardware failure or driver issues despite the latest updates.
