Hello, I own a Ryzen5600x on an Asus ROG Strix x570-i board with 2x16GB RAM and HyperX (HX432C16FBAK2). My GPU is a 3070. I mainly use the system for watching content and some light games like Classic WOW, Overwatch, and Heroes of the Storm. I have two 1440p monitors—one at 60Hz and another at 165Hz with GSync. Often I experience crashes in games, which restart the PC without warning or a blue screen (though sometimes it freezes and I need to use the reset switch). I've noticed these crashes happen more when playing Hotspots while streaming or YouTube is open on another monitor. If I turn off one monitor and leave the browser running, it still occurs, but much less frequently. After many troubles, I thought about checking the RAM. Removing one stick resolved the issue, tried swapping with another, but the problem persists. I moved the sticks around in both slots (my board only has two), and it still works fine. What might be causing this? Anyone has suggestions on what to check next? Could it be the motherboard, the CPU memory controller, or something else? Thanks a lot!
You likely removed BIOS RAM settings after adjusting your RAM configuration. It seems the same DRAM chips are present on your server, but the XMP profile didn’t work consistently. You had to manually adjust overclocks and timing to achieve stability.
I haven't changed the bios recently. The chipset version shown in Device Manager differs significantly from what ASUS lists on their support site. I'm using AMD SMBus driver 5.12.0.38, but the website shows V4.07.13.2243. I don't know what MPO means or how to configure it, so I'm using the default settings. I hope updating the bios and drivers will resolve this issue.
It seems the situation isn't what it appears. On Windows, I can observe 3200 as its performance even after removing one stick. Would it help to turn off XMP and test with two sticks? This could point to a stability concern. If so, would you consider upgrading your RAM?

I refreshed my bios and chipset drivers, turned off XMP. The system is now stable using both drives. I plan to maintain this setting for some time before re-enabling XMP to test its effect. Thanks for your assistance!
