Need quick connection but files load slowly?
I receive about 900mbps overall, but when downloading games on Steam they only show 9-23mbps. I've changed my download region, cleared the cache, and tried all possible fixes! Please help!
Having a large internet connection at home doesn’t ensure every site you wish to download from has the same size or that you won’t share the server with others who might also want to download. So relax, make a cup of coffee or tea, grab some snacks, and enjoy some shows or videos until the download is done.
Do you think you're confusing stream downloads with Mbps versus MB/s? Also, I find your connection speed quite impressive.
I've noticed several videos showing people downloading content from Steam with speeds of at least 60 Mbps.
My link speed is 250mbps while I’m seeing about 20MB/s on Steam, right?
It varies based on the games and the download server you're using. Several things influence your download speed. Personally, if you can get an update in under 10 minutes, I'm quite satisfied. But it depends on having a fast upload speed too.
