I’m going to quote Slick and Linus here. Use MSE for antivirus, SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes for the rest. Unless you’re in danger from hackers—like a company—or completely unreliable online, firewalls aren’t much help these days because of all the ZeroDay attacks. Also, I don’t recall the last time my computer got infected; usually it’s just some annoying adware or spyware that SuperAntiSpyware clears up. I run it about once a week to remove all the trackers.
