Seeking suggestions for games that support a playable FPS experience without relying on Minesweeper. Steam has indicated it will stop supporting Windows XP by the end of December 2018. I’m not a serious gamer and have never played a triple-A title before. A relative from China is coming over, so I’d like to know some well-loved PC games suitable for a 10-year-old on my system, which currently falls short of the required specs shown in the image.

Playing Eating Chicken games is comparable to PUBG's demands, which are relatively light. You should be able to play smoothly on a 4-core CPU, 8GB RAM, and either an RX560 or GTX1050 GPU. It will also work on a Ryzen 2400G at 720p with 60fps without any additional graphics card.

Consider whether upgrading your graphics card's performance is necessary based on your needs.

XP? Dual Core? 512MB? 2GB? whaaat...
Without understanding the rest of the specs, I'm pretty sure your computer is from another era.
Do you have a budget? You definitely need a new PC.
Overclocking wouldn't help with that slow 512MB VGA.

His computer will be outdated in another ten years. The person referred to it for the first time in their initial message. Regardless, is consuming chicken allowed? If yes, attempt to run it and proceed from there.

Hah, forgot about it. Sorry
But a late decade ago (first gen core-i) is still working well, just need a new gpu.
"eating chicken" refers to a general term for pubg clones, I don't know which one they're discussing.
If you check the bottom left corner of the screenshot, it mentioned Ryzen 3 1200 (4 threads) as the minimum requirements.

It is available at no cost, though it needs direct x 11 rather than direct x 9.0c to function properly.
