A few days ago I visited to seek assistance since I planned to upgrade my graphics card to a PowerColor Rx 6600 Fighter or GTX 1660 Super. I chose the Rx 6600, but due to Christmas it was out of stock, so I did some research again. I discovered an Rtx 2060 for roughly the same cost (around 320€, about 30€ more than the Rx 6600). My concerns are: with my i3-10100f and ASRock H470M-HVS, will performance drop if I use the Rx 2060? Also, can I run high settings games like Cyberpunk or Assassin's Creed Valhalla? Or perhaps medium and high settings? I updated after finding an Rx 6650 XT for the same price, but I'm worried about bottlenecks and losing performance if I don't sacrifice too much. If I manage to retain most of the performance, I'll go with the Rx 6650. Thanks! Have a great Christmas!

Bottleneck doesn't mean your GPU will suddenly downgrade itself. It simply meet a wall that it cannot pass, doesn't mean it suddenly change from ... let's say the hulk to a baby. If the price is the same, Me, i'd get the 6650, idc if it gets bottlenecked. No point buying a less powerful one for the same price, especially if the 2060 is the 6gb version, unless there's something on Nvidia's platform that i really want (like Raytracing, or whatever else Nvidia has that AMD doesn't). But yea, I won't suggest turning on RT on a 2060 anyway, not even on 3060. 1080p 1440p

Upgrade the 101100f to an i5 for six cores with twelve threads, eliminating concerns about performance limits on a budget chip like the 6650XT.
