Need immediate assistance with the local area network!
Hello, I just finished assembling a new PC and went through the steps to install Windows 10. Now I’m trying to access the internet, but it’s not loading properly. The connection appears active when I plug in the Ethernet cable, yet the network panel shows zero data usage. My motherboard is an Asus Crosshair VII Hero with a 5900x CPU. I’m also using a Netgear Ethernet adapter that worked fine before. I’ve restarted the router and tried downloading new network drives onto a USB drive, checking both the 2.5Gb and 1Gb ports in BIOS. Still, I can’t download anything from the internet. PLEASE HELP AND THANK YOU!
