I removed the CPU fan and checked everything was okay. However, during the process, using a hair dryer caused the CPU to flip. Thermal paste built up on several pins at the tip. To safely take it off now, ensure the area is cool and handle the pins gently to avoid damage.

Use rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol with a toothbrush to remove it quickly. Let it dry before using. It’s fast and effective.
