It's not a critical issue, but your PC didn't install the latest Windows 10 update. It restarts with a "GATEWAY" message, displays the Windows logo with a loading ring, then goes black before rebooting. This has been happening for a while now. Since you don’t have another machine, you’ll need to troubleshoot quickly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can safely boot before Windows attempts to load.

Do you own a portable storage device? If yes, request a desktop or another machine to create a Windows 10 installation media. Start from there, generate a Linux bootable disk. Power it on, transfer your data to the external drive, disconnect it to verify integrity, and then reinstall Windows 10. This method is the easiest if you have another system available. If safe boot isn't possible and other recovery methods are your main option, consider the approach recommended by @wonderforest.

I didn't try to but F8 or Shift+F8 doesn't work. I don't have an external drive either. I also don't have friends who use computers. I plan to bring my PC to my tech teacher on Monday to ask if they can get me a Windows copy.

Goodbye. Attempt to restore the BIOS to its original settings, and observe any changes.

It doesn't work. I've tried all possible solutions. I'm checking if I can borrow a hard drive with Windows 10 installed to access my PC and back up everything before reinstalling.

I managed to start using my extra hard drive that had no data, which helped replace the faulty one and got me back into Windows. Right after, I backed up all my files to check how long it would last.
