You installed Windows 8.1 on Ubuntu using a disc, then went to a setup file. After clicking setup.exe, the terminal appeared briefly before vanishing. You’re worried about losing your money—what should you do?

It's listed in the flying bios, but only flying motherboards are compatible.

Navigate to your Bios Boot menu, but be aware it may not function properly when opened in Ubuntu.

Are you swapping in Ubuntu or setting up a Windows 8.1 environment inside a virtual machine? To change to Windows, simply boot from the installation media. Restart your system and access the BIOS settings—typically by pressing DEL or F4 during startup—to configure the storage drive as the initial boot device.

You cannot add Windows 8 inside Ubuntu. You must use the Windows executable only after installing a Windows OS. To switch to Ubuntu, boot from the disc and reformat everything. If you wish to retain Ubuntu, adjust the ext4 partition and install Windows 8 in the updated space.

It's been a while since you've been chatting, but the best help came when installing Windows 8.1 Axxel. Without that guidance, I wouldn't have understood the process.
