I understand. You're looking for alternatives to DLink routers with 10/100 Mbps speeds and LAN ports. Let me know if you need more details!

I don’t have any ideas. I’d go with ASUS or Netgear, and if you’re on a tight budget you might check TP Link, though the firmware could be lacking. I’ve only installed one TP Link router so far, and it worked decently for its cost.

I appreciate Netgear products, their firmware is straightforward yet effective. For more advanced customization, consider routers that work with Tomato or DDWRT. Warning: Handling these router firmwares requires expertise—they don’t offer guidance.

I'm a simple person needing a network for my project. I think Netgear is a solid choice to purchase a Netgear AC 1000.

That's the correct configuration you mentioned. I understand you can wait a day or two, and I'll inform you about the QoS settings in the firmware and their complexity once you're ready.

I suggest choosing tp-link instead of d-link, but I think netgear or asus would be better options.

It seems the AC1000 lacks QoS while the AC1200 does... that's interesting. My previous model did have it, so maybe they removed it to push a more costly router.

Holy fox! Got it, I'll wait a month and purchase AC 1200. Thanks for the details!
