My hard drive failed about three weeks ago, and I replaced it today before installing Windows 7 again. Since it’s an older machine, I don’t want to upgrade it further. Unfortunately, my key slipped away and I couldn’t locate it after searching longer than necessary. I recall someone mentioning a trustworthy site for buying genuine OS keys, but I’m really confused and can’t find it. Would you mind sharing a link or two so I can check? Thanks a lot!

It's a Dell Inspiron 1720 with Intel T7770 at 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, and NVidia GT660M. It still works well after 10 years. Runs fine on Windows 10 as I used it for Win10PT. Preview experience was great. The main HDD stopped working, so I’m considering moving it to Windows 7 per my wife’s suggestion. I’ve never used Reddit before—how do I place an order?

She dislikes the game's difficulty in Win 10.

She prefers the older version and isn’t bothered by changes. I’d have to show her how to use the newer system, but with my busy schedule, it won’t happen soon. It’s easier for me since she already understands it, and I can fix it later if needed.
