I have an older CPU (FX 8320) but I'm quite satisfied with it for the games I play, since I don't require a top-tier system. I tried to overclock it from 3.5Ghz to 3.8Ghz, but there was no way to adjust the voltage in my BIOS. The setting was labeled "Auto" and was hidden, leaving me with no option to raise it. Is the increase from 3.5 to 3.8 enough to justify a higher voltage boost, or should I be fine with just slightly higher temperatures? The current voltage reported on HWinfo is 3700 at 1.4v.

300MHz sits right on the edge of being ineffective, but adequate cooling works even at 1.5v. Which model do you own?
