I purchased Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One recently, and I also got it for free on PC via Xbox Play Anywhere. My console is in the living room, but I tend to play more on my PC anyway. I’m curious about reducing those annoying lag spikes. I downloaded the game from the Windows Store and ran it on my PC. I understand the optimization isn’t great, but I’ve seen others play smoothly. My system specs are: i5 - 4690k, GTX 980, 8GB RAM.

I believe you save it from the Windows app store and execute it on your computer directly.

It functions as expected on your real machine. You should obtain it via the Windows Store.

I purchased it for my Xbox One. I got it from the Windows app store. It's operating from my real PC.

No, I haven't tried any adjustments yet. Would you like me to suggest some options?

Transform the darkness to a soft glow, that's the goal. Maintaining a steady 60 isn't possible in the city.

I recommend trying these approaches and see if they resolve the problem. You won't need a new image.

First, run the System File Checker (SFC) scan. Press ‘Windows + X’, select ‘Command Prompt (Admin)’, type the command and press Enter.

Second, use DISM tool to fix Windows files. Open Command Prompt (Admin), then execute the following steps:
1. Press Windows key + X.
2. Choose Command prompt (admin).
3. Copy and paste the commands carefully into the prompt.

These steps should help identify and repair any missing or corrupted system files.
