Need help with bad memory OC
Hey everyone, I'm facing some memory issues with my XPG D80 setup. I've been trying to push it to 3600MHz CL16-18-18, but it doesn't work no matter what I do. Even changing the XMP settings and adjusting the voltage didn't help. I also used a DRAM calculator, but it only showed stability at 3200MHz CL14-17-17. My burner isn't recognizing certain memory parameters either. I ended up using Micron E/H-die PCBs because they're more stable, though I'm not sure if that's the best choice. The manual PCB revision seems to be causing problems with the calculator. What do you think about sticking with the 3200MHz setting or trying the 3400MHz OC version?
Adjust the SOC to 1.15 and see how much further you can reach. As mentioned, there’s no assurance beyond the advertised rates. This depends on the condition of the ICs, the IMC, and a bit of chance.
You might improve RAM performance by raising the SOC voltage. The issue could be with the RAM chips themselves or the motherboard/CPU. Avoid exceeding 1.2V on SOC.
