I possess the Asus ROG STRIX X470-F gaming CPU, which is an AMD Ryzen 3600. I updated it to BIOS version 5843 for "AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.1" recently. However, I’m facing problems with my RAM at the intended XMP/DOCP speed of 3200MHz using Corsair CMW32GX4M2C3200C16. Memtest86 reports errors, and the system crashes or hangs frequently. The RAM passed testing on another machine, but I’m unsure what to do next. Could someone advise me on flashing back to an older BIOS version or help with a different ASUS board? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Place the bios file on a USB drive and load it directly inside the BIOS. This approach is often more reliable than handling updates through the operating system.

I noticed the issue too. The system shows "file not valid" when trying to downgrade via ez-flash.

No, the .cap file was placed on a fat32-formatted drive.

I just attempted once more—any clue about its placement? I checked now, but there’s no available option listed.

Consider using newer BIOS files instead of older ones.
