Right now I’m using Webroot and feel like I have roughly 30 days before my subscription ends. I’m looking for a reliable antivirus that also handles malware effectively. Webroot has been solid so far—most issues are rare, and if something does happen, Malwarebytes usually steps in (I even use the premium version). However, it can be frustrating because it sometimes quarantines programs I know are safe, and its settings aren’t always user-friendly. I’m hoping for a solution that’s both fast and efficient, like Webroot’s speed and quick scans under two minutes. I definitely don’t want McAfee again—it was a real letdown.

I also tried Avira AntiVir; it worked well for me. It’s free and I rely on it alongside Malwarebytes and good judgment.

I don’t rely on antivirus software; I use cleaning tools instead. Malware Bytes works well. AVG offers a free version if you’re serious about protection, though it can be a bit bothersome for me.

Really, I haven't run antivirus for a long time. I only use Malwarebytes occasionally.

I haven't relied on a separate antivirus since Windows 7 was released. I occasionally run Malwarebytes scans when something unusual appears, letting Windows Defender handle the rest. I've stayed virus-free for about five years now. Just avoid suspicious files and websites, and definitely use adblock.

Avira/Avast/AVG offers free protection with reduced features compared to premium versions. Some free AVs display intrusive voice notifications, which you might want to disable. Malwarebytes remains a solid choice for regular deep scans or when you spot anything unusual—Bitdefender is also reliable and affordable if you obtain the keys through platforms like G2A.

I don’t get viruses, yet I still want reliable virus protection. I might consider Avast, as some people suggest it. I’ve never heard of Avira. I thought AVG could be top-notch antivirus, but I’m searching for a paid solution.

Ad-block is essential because it prevents websites from earning revenue through advertisements, which can impact the ability of creators to sustain their services.
