I mainly rely on my PC for gaming, YouTube viewing, coding, general browsing, 3D work, game creation, and AI tasks. Here are the details of my setup:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming X AX DDR4
- RAM: 32GB
- GPU: RTX 3080
- CPU: Intel i7-12700F
- Boot Drive: Samsung SSD 970 1TB
- Secondary Storage: Samsung SSD 970 2TB
- Operating System: Windows 11
- BIOS Version: F1 for the motherboard

Recently, I faced a problem after removing GCC. After restarting, several events occurred. Previously, I had saved a restore point, but it didn<|pad|> page failed to fix the matter. I also tried earlier backups without success. The issue started when I uninstalled GCC, trying to fix a crash linked to the Gigabyte App Center and driver updates.

The main symptom is a frozen loading window showing "Gigabyte Insist Ultra Durable" during startup. Initially, I heard Windows booting quietly but couldn't advance past this screen. I tried Windows Automatic Repair, but it didn’t resolve anything. Running `sfc /scannow` in Command Prompt didn’t detect any errors. Resetting the BIOS and testing the SSD didn’t help either.

After a fresh Windows 11 install via USB, the system still freezes at the Gigabyte screen, though I can occasionally boot into Safe Mode. I haven’t used the BIOS repair tool or updated the BIOS yet, as I’m open to BIOS updates. Reinstalling Windows 11 from a USB is another option, since my last install was through the cloud.

My priority is getting the PC to boot into Windows 11 quickly, not worrying about data loss. I’m currently enjoying "Seamless Co-op Mod" with my cousin in Elden Ring, but now I’m stuck. Any advice or tips would be helpful.

Newly, I’ve verified the RAM and run memtest86—it’s fine. I cleared CMOS but didn’t see improvement. I even reinstalled Windows 11, but before setup begins the screen goes black. I’m considering entering Safe Mode since it might relate to GPU drivers.

I’m still unsure about updating the BIOS, as I’m not sure how to proceed step by step. Also, Gigabyte’s updates aren’t very clear; I need more details about what changes to apply. I hope this helps.

What is the model number and manufacturer of your Gigabyte motherboard? Is it a Gigabyte B660 gaming x ax DDR4? Check the official page at the provided link. Do you have a Windows 11 USB flash drive installer? If not, obtain the Windows 11 ISO and burn it onto a USB drive using the Media Creation Tool. Launch the installer, select "Install Now" followed by "Custom Install." Would you like guidance on where to place Windows after installation? Clear all partitions until you see an unallocated space, then proceed. Windows will generate new partitions and format them during setup. If issues arise and you encounter the Gigabyte splash screen, there may be a hardware fault preventing proper startup. Disconnect all external and internal drives, leave only one RAM stick, swap RAM if necessary, and test booting into BIOS. If successful, disable Fast Boot or adjust the BIOS settings to Load Optimized Defaults. Should the problem persist, unplug the computer from the power supply and remove the CMOS battery. Many newer boards include a reset CMOS button on the back or motherboard for this purpose. You can also upgrade the BIOS using the Q-Flash utility available online.

That's the mainboard you have there, and I'll go through all the methods you mentioned. I'm ahead of the game and have already installed Windows media on a USB drive. I'm also ready to repeat some steps I've done before, with pictures to help me fix this. The only problem is that this is my first PC, built about 8-9 months ago. I don't have extra RAM, but I could buy some cheap one. I previously had blue screen issues that were resolved by fixing the RAM setup, and I haven't had any problems in the last 7 months or more. After installing Windows 11, the logo screen keeps appearing. I'm planning to try another approach. Maybe wait a bit—since it's 5 in the morning and I've been working for seven hours.

I verified the RAM and found no problems. I ran it through memtest86 to confirm. Everything seems fine. I followed the proper steps: powered off the computer, shut down the PSU, unplugged all devices, held the power button for 30 seconds to remove any leftover charge, removed the CMOS battery for five minutes, reinstalled it, entered BIOS, set the boot drive, and then executed memtest86.

It might be necessary to refresh the bios because everything appeared okay. I’m not sure what the best way is—someone mentioned needing different bios before others, or maybe I can just use the newest one.
