you’ll need a 7900xt 4070ti 4080 7900xtx to achieve solid 4k performance with smooth frame rates. you can still match them with a 13600k or 7700, but that would exceed your $1500 budget!
the 4060 and 7800 are still mainly 1080p and 1440p GPUs – just using low settings and upscaling might work.
