Need help! Radiator Placement
Need help! Radiator Placement
I recently placed an order for a NZXT Kraken x62 and am checking if it will fit in the front of my case without removing the existing three 120mm fans. I also have the Coolermaster Masterbox Lite 5 rgb, and I was considering placing the radiator against some of those 120mm fans while positioning the other two 140mm fans inside the case. I’m looking for a push-pull setup idea.
Certainly, a 360mm rad would penetrate that lower section. I understand your point. Even if it's too thick, you could still exclude the bottom fan and maintain at least three stock fans on the outside and two inside. The setup seems suitable for your 280mm rad. The only remaining concern would be the graphics card length, but this model has a fairly large one in its Masterbox Lite 5:

The x62 AIo is a 280mm radiator. Your case includes 120mm fans, which won't fit. It's best to remove the 120mm ones and install the AIO at the front using push or pull. For a Push/Pull configuration, you'll need matching fans on the radiator. If you're unsure about your setup, providing more details would be helpful—adding examples or images would assist greatly.

If your idea is too vague, adding more details or examples would be helpful.
I assumed they wouldn’t work since a 120mm fan can’t connect to a 280mm one, but here’s what the case appears like (I’m not there right now).
It seems like I might be able to mount the radiator onto the metal frame.
But if it really matters, I’ll just remove the front fans.
The product details on Newegg mention your case can handle a 360mm radiator. To verify compatibility, refer to Cooler Master's documentation.
Directly from the site... Front radiant heaters ranging from 120 to 280mm and 360mm, available in limited quantities, up to a thickness of 50mm without a fan.
Doubtful unless there is room externally for those 120 fans.
Almost all chassis fans are 'intended' to be mounted internally...the front fascia will likely prevent outside mount AND allow the fascia to fit properly.

Yeah on the photo above you can see there is like a glossy see through panel for the front of the case, and if you take it off all three of the 120mm fans are mounted on the outside of it. I suppose if I get long enough screws I could manage it? Anyway I guess I will figure out when it arrives.
