Hello everyone
I'm trying to increase my CPU's speed but I'm unsure how to do it properly. I've experimented a few times, but my computer has crashed, so I need some expert guidance. My BIOS lists the current settings as:
CPU frequency settings 333
PCIe clock by auto
CPU voltage default
FSB voltage default
Memory voltage default
Dram frequency auto
Configure dram timing by spd enabled

Quickly accumulate funds—775 budget sockets aren’t ideal unless you locate a better one. Intel DX38 or DX48 works well because they support OC via setfsb and a QX CPU.

Check available settings for voltage memory voltage and drive speed. Also identify the CPU model you're using.

i've already attempted to set the frequency to 400 and it started working with windows, but i experienced a BSOD and had to reinstall windows. i'm unsure if this issue is due to the overclock or because my pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements of a certain game. my question is whether bsod is corrupting windows in such a way that i need to reinstall it again. for reference, the settings are: dram ddr2 667 ddr2 800, cpu voltage 5% 10% 15%, fsb voltage 0.1v 0.2v 0.3v, memory voltage 1v 2v 3v, and my cpu is core 2 duo 6550.

Download CPU-Z and observe your default voltage. After providing a 5% adjustment, check the change in detail. This motherboard doesn't have a significant space.

Sorry, I'm still getting your point. Could you clarify the other parameters and CPU settings? I'm here to help.
