Looking for a mod manager to enhance visuals and introduce fresh weapons without going overboard. Since you've worked with Skyrim and Fallout 3, Nexus Mod Manager is a solid choice.

I’ve tried NMM for personal use without issues across Skyrim, Fallout NV, and Fallout 4. I also rely on LOOT to manage load sequences since I can’t handle it independently.

Check out the top-rated mods on the Nexus site and grab the ones that suit you. Adding an ENB is a smart touch too.

It seems you mainly rely on a handful of gameplay-changing mods and only use a few that alter the experience. You like NV close to its original state.

If things go wrong with your modding, your Fallout games and folder stay spotless, letting you save separately from your regular vanilla saves—copies or backups of your existing vanilla files. Nexus mod manager doesn’t handle this feature. Maintaining a tidy game directory helps fix modding problems more easily. But if you enjoy the style of NMM mods, go for it even if it means giving up some MO benefits.
