Need help choosing a router for your needs?
I need a bit of a unique configuration. I require a router for my apartment that can support four gamers simultaneously. My room already has an Ethernet connection with steady speeds around 300 Mbps, but the building’s WiFi only provides about 40 Mbps up and down, which sometimes drops. I’m looking for something reliable to spread those faster wired connections throughout the place, so I can enjoy private internet without interference from others. I also want to connect my printer to it to avoid anyone else using it. My budget is tight—under $50 would be perfect, especially since the apartment is roughly 1,000 square feet. I’m hoping this might work! Thanks a lot! P.S. I came across this offer on Newegg, but I’m not sure it’s a solid, trustworthy model—it looks like an unknown brand or something sketchy. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6PF55P8285
The ASUS model appears to have mixed feedback about signal stability, while the TP-Link option lacks user reviews. If you prefer a more reliable connection, the TP-Link might be better based on available data.
