Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to overclock my BIOS/CPU using A.I suite 3 with the current setup and what my system will look like once the new parts arrive.
My current build includes:
- Asus H110m-a/m.2 mini ATX (perfectly functional at this price)
- Intel core i3-7100 7th gen @3.9ghz
- Corsair CX750M 750watt modular PSU
- Crucial 8gb RAM (planned upgrade to 16gb soon)
- 1tb HDD (SSD expected soon)
- AMD Radeon Sapphire RX550 (GTX 1060, 3GB to be delivered)
- Antec GX505 case with 5 1750 RPM fans (neutral pressure to avoid dust)

I’m concerned about potential damage, even though everything is brand new, and I don’t want to spend another $1000. Any advice would be really helpful. I haven’t found any guidance from others with a similar build, so please let me know.

The CPU you possess is not suitable for overclocking on an H110 motherboard. You require a Z170/Z270 and an unlocked processor. What model do you have?
