99% of builders prefer a 13900K over a 13700K, especially with a slightly slower clock and 8 ecores less. The main benefits are easier cooling and lower power consumption. You can also opt for a more affordable board—any Z790 chip with $400 or more should suffice. For better performance, consider faster RAM like 6400+/CL30.

Consider the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 for a cooler setup. Pair it with a 7800X3D for top gaming performance on an X670 MSI board. Then add a 980 Pro 2TB SSD for extra storage.

I wouldn't want to master building a PC using such costly equipment... Would it be better to acquire an old gaming machine from Craigslist for practice? You'll find options that are 10 or 20 years old and free of charge. There you can gain hands-on experience disassembling and reassembling components, which should boost your confidence. Figuring out how to properly configure a PC is another challenge...

Given the high cost of these components and your prior effort to assemble and power the device, I suggest hiring a professional. Building it yourself could lead to mistakes or damage. Better to let experts handle it, especially if you're concerned about quality. It might have been wise not to use these parts on your first try anyway.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but it seems like something isn't functioning properly. The fans might not be spinning, the lights probably aren't illuminating, and there may not be any RGB effects or sounds. It would help to know more details about the issue. If it doesn't work as expected, it might be best to visit a repair shop to avoid damaging expensive equipment.

The fan rotates, RGB activates, and I can also power it via BIOS, though after trying to download the OS it won’t connect.

A PC requires manual installation of the OS rather than automatic download. Obtain a blank USB drive without files and adhere to the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...c3b507420d. Boot from the drive and proceed with the setup. The installer is designed to be user-friendly today. It will prompt you to activate or purchase a license. Consider using your Microsoft account for login, as licenses may already be linked. If purchasing, reputable sellers are available. Avoid questionable methods like volume licensing. For Linux users, the steps are similar but without the licensing process.
