You faced an unusual issue where your PC started but after a while it shut down completely. Despite fans and lights working, your mouse and keyboard didn’t power on. You tried restarting and logging in, but once the fans came back online again, only the main components powered up. The problem might be related to power delivery or a faulty PSU. Since you don’t have a spare system, consider checking the PSU connections, voltage stability, and motherboard health. If possible, test with a different PC to isolate the issue.

Sounds like you have a chipset overheating on the motherboard.

You could verify whether the PSU is a PSU or a motherboard by testing it on another machine (the one with the working PC). This would help confirm its identity. It seems like a straightforward approach.

The issue lies with the PC owner who owns the machine. I attempted to check my hardware but they don’t want me to use their PSU or install mine on theirs. That’s why I can’t test my PSU and motherboard right now. Maybe I should look for other users in my area.

For the chipset it shows 44C, I believe it isn't overheating.

Another approach is to simply attach a fan.

Check if the stick fan is connected to the chipset and understand its purpose.

Stay put and don’t need to attach it just for testing
